Happy St. Patty's Day!!

We had a great day today!!! We got all dressed up in our 4-leaf clover outfits and spent the day with Mommy and Aunt Monika. They took lots of pictures of us today. We did have one little accident; Lanie fell off the basket she was being photographed in. Luckily she did not fall far; she didn't cry at all but Mommy did. Our private nurse Aunt Monika assured Mommy Lanie was fine; she has a hard head but we already knew that.

PS Mommy had her Nanna in mind today and wished she could have met us; today was her birthday.

Our First Surgery

The first few days are a little rough for us and our family. We are very tiny but we are STRONG!!! We had to have surgery today to close a valve from our heart to our lungs. The surgery was called a PDA ligation and we came through it like champs. We are resting comfortably with extra pain meds for a few days. Mommy is still not feeling well but she is getting better.

Carlee Reese weighed 1 pound 10 ounces and was 12 inches long.

Lanie Rae weighed 1 pound 7 ounces and was 12 inches long.
